Brand development with a design subscription package.
Optimising your marketing budget.
As we’re always keen to offer great value, we offer our clients a graphic design subscription package. This suited MaxRock, who wanted our strategic input as well as our design and layout know-how.

MaxRock is a Banbury-based music school that focuses on pop music tuition. The MaxRock Method is the school’s unique teaching system that builds on a student’s innate sense of rhythm and melody. Because it uses visual cues and pop-culture references it’s suitable for all ages. When students are confident with their instruments MaxRock introduces music theory.
Graphic design subscription packages that work.
MaxRock signed up for a trial three-month subscription package – and it’s proved to be a productive relationship. MaxRock continued the subscription after the trial and now use our services weekly.

We kicked things off with some visual branding ideas, which quickly developed into our first project for MaxRock. This was an advertising board for their premises. There was a lot more to come though! MaxRock’s graphic design subscription package meant that we were super-responsive to their needs. If they had an idea, a quick email or phone call got us working. We could quickly scamp up some ideas and then develop as needed. MaxRock saved time as there was no need to give us a full design brief for every single project.
And because we collaborated with them on brand strategy, we were able to offer guidance on the best use of their graphical assets.

Brand development and deployment.
Our next job for MaxRock was a back-of-bus ad. But MaxRock doesn’t sit still, and they quickly expanded their offerings to include a games arcade. Video games characters were already part of the MaxRock method, and a separate business strand made sense. The consoles and VR kit are in a room next to the music studio, which is a safe and comfortable area that students’ parents were already familiar with, supervised by trusted staff.
We adapted the music brand for the video game strand. We introduced a neon glow look while keeping the basic elements the same. As some promotions were joint music and games the neon look soon established itself as the default look for MaxRock as a whole.

The graphic design subscription package is ideal for this sort of development work because it’s a flexible, adaptive and based on creating marketing collateral as it’s required. The MaxRock brand developed organically through a wide breadth of items, including membership cards, e-learning packages, information posters and sub-brand logos.
Our relationship with MaxRock continues, the latest items being greetings cards and gift vouchers. But we know MaxRock has big plans for the future, and we’re looking forward to helping them with their continually developing brand strategy, as well as their day-to-day design services.
