Creating multi-language documents and infographics.
For Delivery Associates.
Toast recently completed an annual review for Delivery Associates, creating multi-language documents and infographics in French, Spanish, Portuguese and Arabic.
While the French, Spanish and Portuguese translations were quite straightforward, the Arabic version needed extra work converting this from a left-right to right-left orientated document. Charts and infographics also needed flipping to the same orientation.
To ensure all the text was artworked correctly, we used a European/Middle East version of Adobe InDesign with added features to ensure that text was formatted and displayed in the correct direction and paragraphs flowed in the right order.
Ongoing relationship.
Toast has worked on various projects for Delivery Associates through a public relations company, Inc London, that is now working from overseas. To avoid the logistical hiccups that come from working across time zones, we have implemented a system of working that minimises delays.
